EDANZ - Eating Disorder Association of New Zealand

EDANZ is an incorporated society established to provide support and education for parents and caregivers of people with eating disorders. The society was established in September 2007 by a group of Auckland parents who all have children with eating disorders. The group was prompted to form EDANZ because of the shortcomings they have experienced in the services and support on offer for eating disorder sufferers and their families.

The group can offer parents and carers support, help and advice from their own personal experiences via email or through the telephone support line

EDEN - Eating Difficulties Education Network

EDEN is a non- profit community based organisation administered by a collective of women. EDEN works with individuals (based on self-referral) and aims to provide an environment, in which people can share their difficulties, identify their options and access support and resources. In addition EDEN works to prevent eating disorders and promote health.

NSWC - North Shore Women's Centre

The North Shore Women's Centre is a charitable trust and has been providing services for women with eating disorders since it opened in 1987. The centre currently offers a range of services which include:

Counselling - with therapists trained in working with eating disorders.
Food for thought - A ten -week introductory group for women with eating disorders.
Go Girl! - an 8 week group addressing the issues that can lead to an eating disorders
