Most people find helping their loved one on their recovery journey challenging. Many people say it is the hardest thing they have ever done. Becoming informed about EDs and connecting with others who understand what you are going through can help you do the job.
If you suspect a loved one is suffering from an eating disorder, we urge you to take them to the GP straight away. If your GP is unhelpful or lacks knowledge about eating disorders, do not delay in obtaining a second opinion. If you would like to talk to us about what to say to the GP please get in touch for help.
