New EDANZ leaflets and posters

We’re excited to let you know that we now have new brochures and posters with EDANZ contact details. We’d appreciate these being displayed and distributed to carers and families who are supporting a loved one with an eating disorder. Please get in touch with us if you’d like us to send you some.

Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addictions

EDANZ received positive acknowledgement for our submission to the Government Mental Health Inquiry, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity for two of our volunteers to meet the Inquiry’s chair Professor Ron Patterson and panel member Dr Barbara Disley just as the Inquiry finished. The meeting gave us the opportunity to talk more about our submission and highlight the key issues we feel need addressing to help those suffering from eating disorders.

Thank you to the many people who provided input and advice to allow EDANZ to put together a full and clear picture of the challenges and issues facing individuals and their families. We are expecting the Inquiry panel to provide their report and recommendations in the near future and will advise you of any updates we receive.

Donate to EDANZ

Donations are one of the key ways that EDANZ can do the work we do. We need funds to maintain our national helpline, hold events & share our message of early intervention, education and recovery throughout NZ, print and distribute our resources, and more to support families as they assist their loved ones to recovery. No donation is too small or too large! Please...

If you or your business are interested in contributing to enable EDANZ to continue our work, we'd love the chance to talk with you more about how your support will make a measurable impact on the lives of families and their loved ones in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Go to contact us or directly to our donations page and we'll be sure to be in touch!
